Rates are valid for a 2 person occupation

Rental only possible starting from a 3 night stay.

Animals are permitted only upon request.

Price and service is guaranteed. Price of accommodation is valid for a 2 person occupation. More persons can be added upon request. One child (up to 4 years old) stays for free. Accommodation for all additional children will cost an additional fee.

Upon request, we provide can provide transfer by car to and from the local station or the airport free of charge.

Upon departure, we provide a cleaning service for a fee of € 35 for your convenience.

Additional costs

To keep our prices as cheap as possible and to provide transparency, we calculate the cost of electricity separately. This means that you will only pay what you have consumed in additional energy yourself. The day of your arrival at the apartment, the status of the electricity meter will be noted down. Before your departure, we will calculate any additional energy costs incurred by you and bill you for the additional costs, which will be roughly equivalent to what we will actually pay in energy costs per kilowatt hour.

As "Grandma's Cottage" has been renovated to include eco-friendly features, the energy costs are low.

When the apartment was being renovated in 2012, we insisted that the Cottage be modernized to include the most energy-saving and ecological features possible. All lights are exclusively equipped with energy-saving lamps and LED lamps. Taking this into account, you can expect additional electricity costs in the amount of approximately € 2.50 per day. In the winter months, the energy consumption is a little higher. Please note that depending on the number of persons, the outside temperature and your individual needs, electricity costs may vary from the above-stated amount.

We strive to provide all of our tenants with transparency in our fees and with fair prices. Please be aware that the less energy you consume, the lower the energy costs will be for you.

Aside from possible additional energy charges that may be incurred, there are no extra costs for key amenities like the availability of fresh bed linen, towels, tea towels, fully-functioning bicycles, a washing machine, wood for the stove, water consumption, free internet access via WiFi etc. These key amenities are included!

Deposit Requirement

A deposit between € 150-200, depending on the length of stay, will be provided to the owner. The deposit minus any additional costs or damages incurred will be transferred to the bank account of the tenant within one week of departure.

Discounts and Special Conditions

Have you already stayed in the holiday apartment "Grandma's Cottage"? If yes, then we consider you to be one of our regulars, who will benefit by getting special rates and conditions for your next stay.

Our regular customers receive a 5% discount on their next stay. After a brief consultation, we also provide tenants with stays covering a longer period (= more than 25 nights) with special rates.

As a regular, you are also permitted to book your next stay with us without obligation and without any financial risk. For instance, if you book accommodation more than 180 days prior to travel, you are entitled to a flat deposit fee in the amount of only € 100 regardless of the length of your stay or the number of people joining you. Should you have to cancel your booking anytime up to 90 days before arrival, we will provide you with your full deposit of € 100.
